Meet Stefanie Boettle

Founder & Director YTM

Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT)  Movement Specialist

Program Manager

Based in Atlanta, Berlin & Munich

"To move consciously, with awareness, observation, and intention, is the entry point for self-discovery."

The Short Version

With 30+ years of experience working with the body, Stefanie spent years as a professional contemporary dancer while also teaching yoga for 17 years, and became a Certified Yoga Therapist in 2024 after three years of study. Her work is deeply rooted in Ayurvedic principles, and she's the creator of ReConnect & ReBuild, a community movement practice centered on connection, play, and nervous system regulation.

She works with individuals in 1:1 therapy, groups in weekly classes and workshops, and organizations building workplace wellbeing programs.

Her Story

Movement has been Stefanie's language since she was a kid. She found yoga in 2002 while dancing professionally, and it opened deeper layers of self beyond what dance alone had revealed. That shift has stayed at the center of her work ever since. She started teaching in 2009, retired from dance in 2018, and became a Certified Yoga Therapist in 2024.

Along the way, she's led international yoga retreats in Europe and Central America, taught professional dancers and corporate teams alike, mentored new yoga teachers, and built and ran a children's yoga program in Atlanta charter schools for over a decade. She's also managed programs in higher education and with community based organizations, bringing that same rigor into her client work.

Her Philosophy

Most of us are taught to suppress difficult emotions like anger, fear, and grief rather than learn from them, but in Stefanie's experience they're some of our most valuable resources. Physical or mental discomfort, whether an old injury, insomnia, or anxiety, becomes an invitation to look deeper. This comes from over 20 years of her own practice, not theory, and shows up in the values she brings to every session: authenticity, courage, humor, ownership, and simplicity.

How She Works

Her approach is holistic, trauma informed, and tailored to the person in front of her. She looks at the whole picture, not isolated symptoms, and you stay in charge throughout the process, her job is to guide and equip you, not hand you a fix.Everything she builds with you stays simple and sustainable, practices that actually fit your life. Her tools include yoga asana, pranayama, meditation, mindfulness, and Ayurveda.

Our values

Most of us were taught to suppress difficult emotions like anger, fear, and grief rather than learn what to do with them, but in Stefanie's experience they're some of our most valuable resources. When we make friends with them, get to know them, embrace them, we open the door to real healing, and physical or mental discomfort, whether it's an old injury, insomnia, or anxiety, becomes an invitation to look deeper.

This comes from over 20 years of her own practice, not theory, and it shows up in the values she brings to every session: authenticity, courage, humor, ownership, and simplicity. Whether you come to this work wanting more flexibility or something deeper, her job is to help you find exactly what you need, and to show you that even that starting point can become a path to real self-discovery.

"Yoga cannot cure anything. Yoga can support your body in healing itself”
